FON端末です。今更感もありますが、
1000円と安く売られているようなので、買ってみた。
で、とりあえず、梱包を開け、ケースも開ける。
星型ねじがゴムブッシュの裏に隠れているので回せばいい。
# 通信機器ってこんなに簡単に開けられていいんだっけ？
で、シリアルでアクセスするために、
FT232RL(USB-TTLレベルなシリアル変換)と適当にハンダ付け。
いくつかのページで紹介されていた8pinのピンヘッダではなくて
# 例えばこことか。
4pinのヘッダだった。ちなみにピン配置は、下図のとおり。
FT232RLは、FreeBSDでも使える。
FreeBSD 7.0-PRERELEASEだと、

kldload uftdi

で、/dev/cuaU0とかに見え、minicomでアクセスできて幸せ...と
思ったらなんか入力が効いていない気がする。

ちなみに、unameは、
